“Waste More Time” – Erin Kirby

One of the most bothersome aspects of a breakup is when the person you just ended things with does not realize that you can and will live without them in your life. They were never the center of your universe and you will be just fine moving on. “Waste More Time” by Erin Kirny encapsulates all of that and then some while giving one heck of a vocal performance throughout.

Whether this was a personal note to someone from Erin Kirby’s past or not, one thing is for sure – many will be able to adopt this as their anthem the next time one of their own relationships comes to an end. As this song does not reside in sadness but rather embraces the next step in life which is finding someone that can be all one needs and more in a relationship. It is a poignant and powerful song that is only elevated by Erin Kirby’s impeccable performance. Her vocals reminded me of those moments from those reality TV singing competition shows where everyone watching realizes, okay…here is a contender for the big win.

Erin Kirby first hit the scene in 2018 with her debut, “Boomerang.” Since then almost a dozen singles have dropped, including 2021’s “Bad Luck” featuring Zac Lawson as well as her latest, “Waste More Time.” All of the above are available now on all major music and streaming sites. So do not waste anymore of your time and check out this rising dynamo’s music out today.
