“ur just horny” GAYLE

Anyone who has scrolled through clips on their phone in the past year or so has heard “abcdefu.” One of the most viral songs at the moment didn’t come from nowhere. It’s by 17-year-old dynamo, GAYLE. Now she is back with what promises to be an even bigger moment for those to recreate, “ur just horny.”

What GAYLE does best in her songs is come at you with nothing more than the truth. She doesn’t hide behind Hallmark sentiments, and that is why “abcdefu” has been streamed over 300 million times and counting thus far. Now it won’t be long before “ur just horny” follows suit as this one comes with that same raw honesty as its predecessor. Also, in an era of hookup culture and online dating that’s overflowing with unwarranted photographs of male genitalia, this is a song that is going to come in handy when one does not feel like responding with words, but rather song. “ur just horny” packs that level of a punch and those who are on the receiving end of its blow are about to be knocked out.

GAYLE has been heard around the world and then some, including several “artists to watch” lists. In March 2022 she has a few smaller shows on the calendar in music epicenters; Nashville, Los Angeles, and New York City. Those are concerts fans will not want to miss because it’s looking like tinier venues are not going to be able to house her sound for long. With a big future ahead, GAYLE’s just getting started this year with a handful of headline dates, and a tour supporting AJR.
