“Turning Me Up (Hadal Ahbek) with Loud Luxury and Ali Gatie” – Issam Alnajjar

Jordanian artist Issam Alnajjar’s latest single “Turning Me Up” is a reimagined version of his smash single “Hadal Ahbek”. Originally performed in Arabic, “Turning Me Up” redefines the original tune with English lyrics and exciting electronic production. Featuring Loud Luxury and Ali Gatie, “Turning Me Up” takes the formerly acoustic song to a new level with engaging rhythms, creative production, and an upbeat attitude that will have you heading to the dancefloor.
Fading in with echoing vocalizations, “Turning Me Up” immediately sets itself apart from the original while maintaining the rhythmic undertones and heartfelt melody. Ali Gatie’s voice on the verse is smooth and straightforward as he delivers the lyrics with an intoxicating syncopation and a slight electronic flair. Loud Luxury’s production is fun and dynamic as the song shifts and evolves. Issam Alnajjar enters midway with a confident, soulful vocal delivery before surprisingly shifting into an Arabic interlude that pays homage to the song’s roots.

While Issam Alnajjar is based in Jordan, Loud Luxury’s Andrew Fedyk and Joe De Pace as well as Ali Gatie are all based in Canada making “Turning Me Up” an international effort that boasts worldwide appeal. With incredible beats, expert production, and a collaboration that couldn’t have been more perfect if they tried, “Turning Me Up” is an inspired track that confidently stands on its own.
