“Space” – RYMAN

As I sit in a home that is not mine, saddened by a cross country move from the only place I have ever known – I can wholeheartedly say I am the type of person RYMAN penned “Space” about because as much as those around me want to help me adjust to a new way of life – I just want to be left alone. In this song that deals with this situation, RYMAN delivers his perspective as the one offering a helping hand in a very delightful sounding array of indie pop that is doing what it can to brighten my gray day.

RYMAN’s “Space” comes from a good place and it is a necessary listen for people on both sides of this situation. What it is about aside, this song is just really great and reminds me a little of when Hellogoodbye decided to ditch the sound that pleased Warped Tour crowds and matured a little into their new, indie vibes. You could also liken this wonderful sing-song track to something you would hear alongside Owl City may have done back in 2009 when everyone could not stop singing “Fireflies.”

“Space” is the latest single from RYMAN, and follows the release of his debut EP, ‘Rewind,’ which dropped earlier this year. Does this mean there is more new music on the horizon from this Nashville-based delight? We hope more is on the way. For now though, check out “Space” by RYMAN, available now on all major music and streaming sites.
