“Reckless” – Madison Beer

As someone who used to race home to watch MTV’s ‘Total Request Live,’ I’ll forever be an appreciator of the art form that is the music video. So when today’s artists who could very well just put up a basic, homemade video on YouTube go above and beyond to bring their music to life via visual storytelling – I live. This is why I was alive and well watching “Reckless” by Madison Beer.

Directed by Amber Park and Beer, “Reckless” takes us into the pages of classic fairy tales, literally. It gives off major classic Disney movie vibes, but what drives this video home is Madison Beer’s powerhouse vocal performance. This wasn’t just Disney visually, but also vocally as you could hear an infamous Princess belting this theatrical-sounding song as much in the 2D realm as Beer does it perfectly in 3D. It is dramatic in all the best ways, heartfelt, and moving from start to finish as it builds to a wonderful climax.

This cinematic single followed the announcement of Madison Beer’s ‘Life Support Tour’ that will see her playing coast to coast, and even up north in Canada, in the fall of 2021 starting October 18th in Toronto before winding down in Los Angeles right before the holidays on November 28th. After a few months home, she’ll return to the stage at the end of March in 2022 overseas in Spain for a month of European dates.

Tickets are on sale now, and for those who need to fill the Madison Beer-shaped hole in their lives until a date near them rolls around, they can check out “Reckless” available now on all major music and streaming platforms.
