Anxiety is nothing to mess with as it can leave you curled up in a ball on the couch in a mental fog for far longer than you could ever have anticipated. Those who live that reality know all too well that nagging feeling of anxiety can leave you with. I know it, and the California-based singer-songwriter Tishmal does as well. However, with a lot of time to reflect, she was able to find inspiration to combat those mental moments of anguish and pen her latest single, “On My Way Up.”
Tishmal admits she found a friend in “On My Way Up,” and it can hopefully be a companion for others who struggled with anxiety as well. For Tishmal, the fear of what could be lurking around each turn in her life consistently sent her mind into a whirlwind, but after moving home to California, she took some much needed time to reflect and in turn began to view life a little differently because if all you ever do is fear, you may miss out on something potentially great, right?
“On My Way Up” is not only an inspired musical tale but also a great pop track that incorporates hints of electronic elements. With that, this is the type of song you crank up when in your room or on a long drive, and just let loose to. A moving moment encased in iridescent pop, always an excellent time, one that is available now on all major music and streaming platforms.
