“I Think I’m God” – Andie Case

If there was ever a song to boost the morale and confidence of an individual, “I Think I’m God” by Andie Case is it. Bursting at the seams with assertive pop-rock goodness, her latest single is like if you took the early days of Ashlee Simpson and married them with the current ways of Halsey.

There are some soft moments in “I Think I’m God,” but they give way to a more sultry undertone that the song sets its foundation on. From those softer moments comes bold statements in the form of a surefire hook that’s bound to be a fan favorite clipped and repeated on the likes of TikTok when Andie Case laments that when she gets high, that’s when these assured sentiments about herself come to the surface. Daring to say the least, “I Think I’m God” is about feeling one’s self. There is nothing wrong with that, especially when it comes across as cool as in this song that was meant to be heard on mainstream airwaves nestled in between the sweet tooth pop of Katy Perry and Shawn Mendes’ smoldering sounds.

Andie Case dropped her debut single back in 2011. Since “Your Love,” the singer-songwriter has released more than two dozen songs including “Easy On Me” and “Unwritten.” “I Think I’m God” is her first release of 2022, and if history shows…there will be plenty more to come throughout the year.
