“Break My Heart Again” – Kristen Plati

You’ve heard that saying it’s not about the destination, but rather the journey? That is what the basis for “Break Your Heart Again,” the brand new single from Kristen Plati felt inspired by. However, it was a love so strong that even though things didn’t work out, she’d do it all over again.

After play was pressed, Kristen Plati’s vocals came through in an almost experimental way. Her delivery paired up perfectly with the music that felt almost reminiscent of something you’d hear in the score of the hit Netflix series ‘Stranger Things.’ However, not too long in, Plati bursts through with a sound and style that leaned more towards the traditional sounds of the ‘80s, the sounds that invited people to the dancefloor. Once that happens, Plati really starts to take control and doesn’t let go until you’re hurrying to hit repeat.

Repeat is a word used not only to describe what you’d want to do with this song but also in regards to the inspiration behind “Break Your Heart Again.” Kristen Plati is telling the tale of a love, while not everlasting, felt so good – she’d risk the pain of a breakup just to do it all over again. Can anyone else relate?

Kristen Plati dropped her debut, ‘Find Me Lost,’ in 2019 and since then has released a trio of singles, including her latest, “Break My Heart Again.” To hear all of the above and more, make sure to check Kristen Plati out now on all major music and streaming sites today.
