“Amnesia” – VOH

Those who can identify with “Amnesia” by VOH aren’t going to be quick to admit it, but what they will do is crank this one up and sing every word at the top of their lungs aside everyone else within earshot because when push comes to shove, this is a pop song that won’t easily be forgotten.

That is in part due to the way VOH comes out of the gate swinging with everything that sweeps audiences off their feet in regards to pop music. “Amnesia” pairs music that inspires movement where you stand with VOH’s lyrical wit, resulting in a song that would fare fantastically in between the likes of Dua Lipa and Olivia Rodrigo on the airwaves right now. One has to go back to the core of this song though, and it’s the story VOH weaves in and out of those boisterous pop moments, that one that many are going to be able to relate to – whether they admit it or not. It’s the age-old tale of knowing someone is 100% wrong but sort of ignoring every bad aspect of them, and going back for more. “Amnesia” instantly took me back to the Spring of 2014 during a time I was quite forgetful.

Reminiscing about questionable situationships aside, “Amnesia” is one of those songs that makes you wonder what’s next. What’s VOH got in store for listeners. This is her second single from her upcoming debut EP set for a 2022 release, and once you listen to this as well as “Away,” you’ll be checking her socials daily for updates on an expected date.

While we wait, make sure to check out “Amnesia” on all major music and streaming sites today.
