“Do It All Again” – Castells

Hot off the heels of their 2021 EP, ‘Viola,’ Castells is back with their latest gift to the pop-rock genre, “Do It All Again.” An addicting song to all who hear.

Bands like Castells are always great because they walk a fine line between two worlds. The catchy choruses that give that good snap, crackle, and pop make it a song that could garner the attention of fans who spend hours crafting playlists featuring the likes of Shawn Mendes and Maroon 5. On the flip side, the breakdowns that come from a band that knows what they are doing would allow for Castells to open for bands like Fall Out Boy and All Time Low. A balancing act, they could lean whichever way they wanted and come out the other end just fine with their latest that was meant for mass consumption.

“Do It All Again” is Castells first single of the new year, following “Little Heart.” The latter gave way to more of a dance-pop vibe, while their latest is like an indie pop-rock version of a power ballad. It’s not overly dramatic like those from the ‘80s, but it has a bit more theatrics in the vocal delivery department. It is those emotive moments that take it over the edge and make you want to know more about this band and what they have to offer.
