“Sweet Life” – Ollie Wade

It was hard not to walk away from the depths of the pandemic without some new outlook on life. Some got new hobbies, others found new purposes, and most realized that toilet paper may be the most necessary item in the world. For the UK-based singer-songwriter Ollie Wade, he was sort of forced to reevaluate what was important in life when work was minimal. From that came the line “Money’s the problem, your mind is the cure” from his new, positively infectious single, “Sweet Life.”

Giving off the same lighthearted vibes that one would appreciate from Jason Mraz and Gavin DeGraw, Ollie Wade knows just how to grab listeners’ attention within seconds. Which is not hard with a song like “Sweet Life.” A song that is a much-needed reminder of what one should value in life. Before COVID, many were work, work, work and did not take any time to really appreciate the life they had. Young people were burning out before they hit 30, and for what? Money? Yes, we need to pay rent – but we also need to enjoy the time we have in the moment because tomorrow is never guaranteed.

Now feeling more fulfilled in life than he had been in a very long time, Ollie Wade is pushing forward and looking to release more fresh, new music along the way. For now, though, those looking for an uplifting new song to add to their life, “Sweet Life” is available on all major music and streaming sites.
