“Who’s Calling U Baby” by Heaven Content

Don’t you hate feeling like you’ve found the one, and then your partner breaks your mind, body, and soul into pieces? “Who’s Calling U Baby” by Heaven Content is here to let you know you are not the only one. So get ready to rock away the pain and sing it out of your system to this new release! We had the pleasure of interviewing Heaven Content, and here is what they had to say:

Q: How did you come up with your name “Heaven Content”?

Heaven Content: The name was thought up by a friend and is more of an ambiguous band name.

Q: What was your passion behind writing “Who’s Calling You Baby”?

Heaven Content:“Who’s calling U Baby?” was written and inspired by a past relationship of mine that had ended badly and abruptly, without any reconciliation on either side. The chorus explains the awful feeling of how easily it is to be replaced by somebody else and how the thought can drive you completely mad.

Q: What first got you into music?

Heaven Content: I got into music through so many different ways and by listening to so many different genres of music from salsa to punk and metal to R&B. However, what truly inspired me to be a musician is when I saw the music video to System of a Down’s “Chop Suey” on MTV when I was a child.

Q: What’s an average day like for you?

Heaven ContentI drink a lot of coffee and spend a lot of time with my cats and partner in SLC. I work at a vegan restaurant called Mark of the Beastro that acts as a music venue as well that is called The Beehive. Besides this, I don’t get out much other than to see shows or go to the movies. I’m dedicated to my music and try to spend most of my time writing songs or stories.

Q: Is there a hidden meaning in any of your music?

Heaven ContentI have no personal hidden meaning in the songs I’ve written but consider all my songs a bit ambiguous as to what their meaning to me can and has changed over time.

Q: What was the best advice someone gave you when starting as a musician?

Heaven Content: Quit school and start a band.
