“Whiplash” by Townsend

townsend is a band that really plays with instrumentals in a way to invoke a certain feeling for the listener. “whiplash” delivers a strong lyrical journey that is meshed with intentional vocals and production choices that elevate each word.

This song takes you to so many unexpected places. Just when you think it’s been written off as an acoustic Indie song, the chorus turns into an EDM focused production. I loved the surprises that kept coming within listening to this song.

I can’t wait for you all to experience the journey that “whiplash” will give you.
