“Wherever You Go” by teté has a sort-of beachy, Brazilian funk feel to it that makes you want to sway your hips to the softness in her vocals. Aside from the sweetness in teté’s voice, this song unfurls to the audience like a love letter, capturing the essence of companionship and devotion. There is so much tender affection in the harmony, and the lyrics paints a picture of intimate familiarity between teté and the subject. It’s almost like listening to a hypnotic spell that is telling you sweetly to expect love and devotion in return for your care and intention. It is a very beautiful song that will almost put you in a trace after listening to teté soothing refrain over and over again.
