“Summer Dreamin’” – Emma Levant

The spooky season may be upon us but that doesn’t mean we have to forget about the warm embrace of months that came before it, but if you’re having a hard time recalling the sun of mid-July, check out “Summer Dreamin’” by Emma Levant.

People hear “summer” and “song” and their minds instantly jump to hype beats and pool parties. Emma Levant sauntered in the opposite direction to deliver this chilled, kickback track that makes the mind wander back to other aspects of summer. Avoiding clothing while sleeping on the coolest of sheets, for one. This is one of those songs you can’t help but bob your head along to as the R&B meets pop ways engulf every fiber of your being from start to finish.

Summer isn’t hard to be inspired by when you call a state with picture-perfect weather home. Yup, Emma Levant is a California-based singer-songwriter who more than likely didn’t have to pull from some far-off thought to be moved to write this ode to some of our favorite months of the year. The ones that remind us not only of vacations and summer love but also a certain type of freedom we got growing up. Those memories are something that Emma holds close as nostalgia moves her creativity the most, and just so happens to be the name of her 2021 debut EP. “Summer Dreamin’” is the follow-up to that release.

Those who want to carry a slice of this season with them year-round can check out “Summer Dreamin’” from Emma Levant, out now on all major music and streaming platforms.
