“Spent Love” Bryson Jarrett

“I’m freaking out.”

The perfect beginning to a song written after dealing with the constant frustrations that come with trying to make relationships and love work out. This is likely why it came to mind when Bryson Jarrett set out to pen “Spent Love.” He was in that exact boat and after failing more than a few times at love, he channeled all he had left in him into his latest single that caps off a great year of releases from this Salt Lake City-based singer-songwriter.

Throughout history, humans have struggled with fully understanding so many things from outer space to the depths of the oceans to the basics of love. This is why we’re always a sucker for not only the songs that sing of romance but the ones that allow us to vent about the concept as well. That is exactly what “Spent Love” allows listeners to do. You can hear the anguish at certain moments as Bryson Jarrett lays it all out on the table for everyone to hear, especially when he readies up for the chorus to hit throughout.

Bryson Jarrett kicked off his musical journey in 2020 with his debut, ‘Horizon.’ Since then he has gifted the world a cascade of singles, including five in 2021. “Spent Love” was his final release of the year before looking ahead to the new year. We can only hope 2022 brings another round of releases. So if your playlists are full of artists like Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber, you’re going to want to check out Bryson Jarrett’s “Spent Love,” out now on all major music and streaming sites.
