“Sleepyhead” – Hunter Moreau

“I built myself a house of tricks, with a clock on the wall that always ticks.”

That’s where it all started for Hunter Moreau as she laid down the foundation for what would become her first single of 2022, “Sleepyhead.” Inspired by a night in bed with nothing more than overthinking, this dreamy pop singer-songwriter is set to wake up the world with her third single, out now.

Last year Hunter Moreau’s second single, “Hazy,” stirred up a lot of attention. It landed on Spotify’s ‘Fresh Finds: Pop Playlist’ and also found itself in the top three on Hype Machine’s popular charts. Now she’s aiming even higher with “Sleepyhead.” Her latest takes us inside her mind in the middle of the night, always the best time for thoughts, right? Lines that the one above as well as mentions of lucid dreams and caffeine streams set to music meant for a scene in an A24 film, make this a song that fans of everyone from Upsahl to Stela Cole will want to lose themselves to.

Music has always been a part of Hunter Moreau’s life. At 12 she earned a spot in a community service singing troupe, ‘Showstoppers,’ and by 16 dropped her debut single, “Drive.” Two years after that “Hazy” garnered a number of firsts and accolades, pushing her to continue to do what she was obviously meant to do; sing. Now she’s back with “Sleepyhead” and ready to continue her way to the top.

To check out “Sleepyhead,” head to any major music and streaming site now to hear that and all of Hunter Moreau’s music.
