“Sanguine” is an ode to a perfectly well-rounded Indie song. The unique storytelling from I Wish I Was A Punk Band, is the makings of a brilliant lyrical journey. This song feels as if they are talking right to you, just with a beautiful array of eery instrumentals as accompaniment.
I Wish I Was A Punk Band has their own independent sound, one that feels untouched by other songs in the Indie-Rock genre.
The confidence with the vocals and the realness to the lyrics is what really sets “Sanguine” apart. I can’t wait to hear more from I Wish I Was A Punk Band for this very reason alone.
