“Players (DJ Smallz 732 – Jersey Club Remix)” – Sam Tompkins

At this point, we’ve probably all heard Coi Leray’s smash hit, “Players,” but now we’ve been gifted with The DJ Smallz 732 Jersey Club Remix–and not just that–a music video to go with it. This faster, more frenetic remix takes the original Grandmaster Flash sample and buries it in a whole new layer of textures. While you’re dancing along, watch the colorful outfits, smooth dance moves, and overall stunning visuals that make up the video.

Key differences you’ll find in this new version include a flurry of intricate, additional sounds, an increase in tempo, and a few key cuts and repeats. It definitely eats, sleeps, and breathes club music, taking on this mesmerizing, hypnotic pace only a good remix can. The bass rumbles richly while the extra percussion pops, clicks, sweeps, shakes, and drips. Even still, Coi Leray’s vocals take center stage as her now iconic verses drift over the accompaniment.

As for the music video, we watch as Coi comes out of a corner store to dance with a huge crowd of people. The scene switches between this and a dimly lit club visual, all the while Coi is moving and singing along with an air of grace and style.

Whether you’re listening to them in your free time or using “Players” as a Tik Tok sound, be sure to support Coi Leray and DJ Smallz! This track is definitely one of the hottest out there right now. While you’re at it, give the music video some love. It’s truly a complement to the song’s content, and quite visually captivating on its own as well.
