“Played Out” – Alex Aiono feat. Jake Miller

There are so many elements that go into making a song that can captivate within seconds, and while I’m not sure of the exact formula – I am certain Alex Aiono has it tucked in his back pocket. This proud Maori Samoan artist has been making waves online with countless streams across the board, and now he’s amassing even more thanks to his latest 2021 release, “Played Out,” featuring Jake Miller.

At its core, “Played Out” is a genuine pop song with all the bells and whistles complete with a catchy beat and hook, but it comes at you with a modern feel ala Justin Bieber during his stunning ‘Purpose’ chapter. Pop with a hint of maturity that makes it straddle the line, allowing fans of all ages to want it on their playlists alongside everyone from Dua Lipa to Bad Bunny. It’s a song that caters to those who like to hit repeat on a song until they know it like the back of their own hand.

For Aiono, “Played Out” marks his next chapter showcasing his growth behind the scenes as well as his movement towards digging deeper into the depths of himself, “With every release, I see more of me in my music. This next era truly will be the deepest I’ve gone yet, and as I live more life and dive further into who I am, I plan to share it with the world.”

In recent years Alex Aiono has become a viral hit, starred in ‘ Finding Ohana,’ and worked with the likes of the award-winning John Legend. With “Played Out,” it looks like 2021 is the year that he leaps becoming a household name with this undeniable single. So those looking to add the perfect pop to their playlists can check out “Played Out,” available now on all major music and streaming platforms.
