“Phone Line” gradually introduces you into a range of melodies, hitting you with the full band of instrumentals by the :20 second mark. The song is set up brilliantly production wise and is full of surprises throughout.
This is a song about going back to your childish cravings and easy love. Lyrics, “We threw our shoes on the phone line” will be happily stuck in your head after listening.
