“People Change” – JENTL

Three-piece pop band JENTL’s new EP “People Change” is a fun-loving, electrifying body of art. Consisting of five mesmerizing songs with intoxicating instrumentals and soaring vocals, “People Change” is ideal for fans of electronic sub-genres such as French House and Disco. The EP, a reflection of the band’s journey and growth, is a unique blend of genres that promises neverending excitement from the music. This makes JENTL a band to be on the lookout for in 2024.

“People Change” is the group’s second EP, a collaborative effort with Producer Dan Freeman, Guitarist Russell Graham (Dua Lipa), and Drummer Omar Hakim (David Bowie, Daft Punk). The EP kicks off with the dynamic “We Gotta Run,” a disco-inspired track that incorporates soul, pop, amongst more. The intoxicating synths and the infectious melody ensure the EP starts off on a high note, immediately drawing the listener in.

Next up is “Nobody,” a track featuring singer-songwriter Chris Keating (formerly of the band Yesayaer). This track takes a soulful turn, thanks to the groovy instrumental featuring a bluesy guitar and bass. Just when you think you’ve got the track figured out, “Nobody” takes a surprising turn about a minute and a half in, with an exhilarating, groovy electronic instrumental break that will leave listeners pleasantly surprised.

“Relax,” the third track on the EP, is slow-building yet equally compelling, consisting of soaring synths and electric guitars. “Crybaby” is the most lyrically-driven track on the EP. Lyrics such as “I may look strong; but it’s the pills I’m on” are a vulnerable, introspective look into the mind of Darren. The final track on the EP, “The Imposter You Know,” ends on an even stronger note than it began. The lyrics, “This isn’t over,” are repeated throughout, possibly signifying this isn’t the end of JENTL.

“People Change” is available today, July 19th, on major music streaming platforms. Take a listen now!
