“Most People” – R3HAB x Lukas Graham

Many huge songs today feature a top-notch DJ who knows all too well how to produce a hit record teaming up with a powerhouse pop vocalist. It’s not every day that you hear one of these larger-than-life EDM tracks lean towards the folk realm, but R3HAB is taking the idea of folktronica to new heights with the help of the Grammy-nominated dynamo that is Lukas Graham on “Most People.”

As soon as a hit play on “Most People” I thought, well this isn’t like most songs that come across my plate. I appreciated that it wasn’t what I’d come to expect from a DJ/singer collaboration. However, this isn’t the first time R3HAB had done his thing with a more twangy twist. He also remixed a NEEDTOBREATHE track that featured ‘American Idol’ superstar, Carrie Underwood. With that in his back pocket, along with well over a decade’s worth of work to his name, he and Lukas Graham dominate on the music end. Lyrically, this “Most People” is a song that laments “nothing good ever comes for free” speaking on the work it takes to make a relationship last. A fantastic reminder packaged in an even better musical package.

Both artists have been working what seems like nonstop since the start of the year. Each has more than their fair share of music to dive into at the moment, including their collaboration, “Most People.” To check out what each has going on and to support their wonderful blend of EDM and folk, check out “Most People” and all their music out now on all major music and streaming platforms.
