“Middle Ground” – Ava Valianti

The passion that emanates from “Middle Ground” by Ava Valianti crescendos across the three minutes and it feels palpable. You can tell that Valianti wrote this song while being in a state of mourning over a fractured relationship that she knows cannot get back to a place where it once was. There are so many regrets that stems from a bad breakup, from unspoken desires to painful misunderstandings. Valianti navigates those rollercoaster of emotions with ease, and allows her listeners in to walk this painful journey alongside her. This alternative pop song is a ballad for those who need to feel their way through the hurt until they finally make it to the other side of relief.
