If that’s not the kicker, the lyrics will tug at your heart strings as you realize that this is Thomas’ plea for connection; highlighting the universal feelings of struggling with unspoken love and the urgency to articulate complex emotions before time passes. The chorus is told like a confession as Thomas yearns for the courage to communicate what his heart is trying to say.
