“Is It Me?” – fika x Stefan Mahendra x Jackson Mathod

When great talents combine, there’s no limit to how high a song can soar. In the case of “Is It Me?” you’re going to want to set your sights on the Milky Way because this one from your new favorite in R&B Stefan Mahendra features the dynamic duo fika, and Jackson Mathod is going places.

Stefan Mahendra has been making waves with the likes of Jennifer Hudson and Melanie C for some time overseas. The UK-based maestro of R&B comes through with his second single from his upcoming EP, due to drop June 3rd. The song takes classic soulful sounds that give way to the smoother ways of the music that came from the late ‘70s and ‘80s. Layered on top of that is some excellence thanks to the likes of Jackson Mathod, as well as fika.

Like Mahendra, fika has been making a name for themselves throughout the London scene for some time. Collaborations and explorations have earned them praise from the likes of BBC Radio 1, Rinse FM, and more. That led them to work alongside Stefan Mahendra on his self-titled EP debut.

All four take their best assets and put them at the forefront of “Is It Me?” and it pays off. This is a song that allows listeners to hit play, sit back, and relax. There is no growing tired of this song. It gives way to being played from start to finish, and then again. To hear more, make sure to check out Stefan Mahendra, fika, and Jackson Mathod on all major music and streaming platforms today.
