“I Am Enough” – Dana Williams ft. Myra Molloy

“I Am Enough” by Dana Williams ft. Myra Molloy is a delightfully positive affirming song that makes you want to get up and bust a mf’in move. Even on this seriously gloomy day I found my mood totally uplifted, and I couldn’t stop hitting the replay button to keep that euphoric feeling going. I also thought the singer vocally sounded like a soulful, light-hearted version of Ariana Grande mixed with Tyla. “I Am Enough’s” lyrics relate to anybody that feels the heaviness of being the strongest person in their lives, and sometimes that doesn’t come with acknowledgement or praise—even from yourself sometimes. It is important to be kind to yourself as much as you are to others, and to give yourself flowers/make sure to tend to your own garden, which is what Williams and Molloy convey in their beautiful song. Definitely give this a spin if you need a pick-me-up tune to get you through your day.
