Cuevas singing reminds me so much of one of those impactful Disney songs where the protagonist finds herself, mainly because of how clear and bright Cuevas vocals come across. The lyrics unfurl like a poetic contemplation on the fleeting nature of time, emphasizing the relentless march of hours and the urgency to seize the present. Cuevas paints a vivid narrative of sharing precious moments together, pursuing the mythical “Fountain of Youth.” “Fountain of Youth, Pt. 2” comes across as a philosophical question wrapped up as a song, compelling us listeners to ponder our existence and the significance of love in the face of eternity.
