“Coming Home Song” – Sammy Rae & The Friends

Listening to the “Coming Home Song” by Sammy Rae & The Friends made me feel so delighted and light, I felt like a swallowed sunshine. The energetic harmonious vocals against the swingy upbeat sound of the instrumentals gave me goosebumps, ESPECIALLY at the 1 minute and forty-five second mark. Not only are the instrumentals and vocals are uplifting and almost god-like, the lyrics give some pretty heartfelt reminders as well, especially about finding one’s self again after feeling so lost while facing adversity. The “Coming Home Song” is sure to either relate deeply with listeners who have faced similar struggles on their journey of self-discovery, or stir something so deeply inside, will feel compelled to play this song over again to find out what it was.
