“Carousel” By Blair Coyle

“Carousel” is one of those songs that sticks with you moments after it’s over. It does this by presenting an easily resonating lyrical journey that dives deep into the soul. Blair Coyle should be commended for the way he really puts his heart into the storytelling of this song.

This song feels as if it has come from Blair Coyle’s personal journey. You can understand the resonance that he has to the lyrical work by the way he sings them with conviction and behind a slight bed of acoustic instrumentals . Clearly the storytelling is the main focus of this song, and for a good reason.

This is a song about loneliness and finding your way out of a lifeless love that you don’t know how to leave.
