“Blossom” – Lorenna

Self-love is more than a saying tossed on t-shirts nowadays, it’s a crucial part of living a fulfilling life. It’s also more than a bomb skincare routine, a bath lined with candles, and taking a nap. It’s about knowing your worth and truly celebrating it with every turn you take, and reminding others that you are worth every ounce of space you inhabit in this universe. That is what “Blossom” by Lorenna is all about, and then some.

On top of being a singer-songwriter, Lorenna is a mental health advocate. So she knows all too well how important self-love is to one’s peace of mind. So in “Blossom” she not only holds a bright light up to the wonders that she has within herself but also notes how lucky anyone else would be to get to experience those wonders themselves if they got the chance to share time with her. It is a love song, but one you sing in the mirror when you need a reminder that it is okay to love yourself.

Lorenna dropped her debut single, “Itchy Skin,” back in 2017 and since then has released a handful more singles as well as her debut EP, 2019’s ‘Sugar Pills.’ A couple of songs bridge the gap between then and now, with “Blossom” being the second single from her upcoming album, Checklist Love. Expect that in January 2022, and in the meantime partake in some self-care by checking out “Blossom,” out now on all major music and streaming sites.
