“Americana” – THE FUR x Julia Ross

The past 365 days or so have kept Swedish artist/producer extraordinaire, THE FUR, quite busy. Half a dozen singles and a few remixes of said releases came from their direction, but it all started with “Americana” featuring Julia Ross.

“Americana” was the perfect introduction to the music realm this year from THE FUR. Pulsating electropop with notes of Tropical House sprinkled throughout giving an overall grand EDM experience at the press of play. That’s what you want from songs in this genre. You want to feel like you’re in the middle of a club underneath the lights of The Strip in Las Vegas, even when you’re still just at home because the world is still a bit of a mess. Nevertheless, THE FUR and Julia Ross have created a song together that manages to transport you to better places, more entertaining spaces. Yes, together because Ross helped co-write this track alongside THE FUR as well as Krysta Youngs.

This wasn’t the last time Ross and THE FUR collaborated this year. Oh no, they proved to be a dynamic combination working together on “Forbidden Fruit” as well. THE FUR managed to collaborate with a lot of notable talents this year. On top of Julia Ross, THE FUR connected musically with The Crushboys, Nami North, Nolan Byrd, and more. All of these single releases are leading up to the highly anticipated release of ‘Night Eyes,’ out soon.

Those interested in checking out what THE FUR has been busy with this year can do so by making their way to any music and streaming site where all of THE FUR’s music is available now.
