“Hurt Too” – Victoria Skie

One of the most toxic traits we have as humans is to take out our bad days on other people. This is something you notice almost immediately in a person, be it a friend or someone you’re in a situation with. Victoria Skie refers to the latter in her latest single, “Hurt Too.” Blending the pain felt when someone lashes out because they’re in their feels with her electropop ways, this New Jersey native delivers.

“Hurt Too” starts with the dramatics. Victoria Skie comes in slow, and then this simple beat transforms into a pop meets electronic moment that allows her vocals to soar straight into the base of your brain. Soon enough signals are received all over the body and you’re entranced by the movement this song inspires. This is especially true towards the end of the track as a burst of the unexpected comes through. A little surprise at the end adds a new layer to the song that makes this a song perfect for any and every dancefloor out there.

Victoria Skie isn’t a stranger from taking the pain of reality and twisting them into pop songs to obsess about as she’s done so in the past with “Sad Girls” and “Don’t Feel Right.” As for “Hurt Too,” it’s her second single of the new year, following “Suburbia,” and her 2021 EP, ‘Four You.’ To hear all of these from Victoria Skie, and more, make sure to check her out on all major music and streaming platforms today.
