“Lost One” – Adria Kain

Several years have come and gone since Adria Kain first made an impression in the music realm with “Ocean.” Now she’s focusing on a reemergence of sorts with her 2022 album, ‘When Flowers Bloom.’ The album, out now, features one of the most well-executed songs about love, regret, and hope out now, and that’s “Lost One.”

At the core of “Lost One” is the story of someone who had someone in their life, but the stars were not aligned for them to make it work once upon a time. The narrator of this tale highlights the issues on their end, how much they’ve worked on themselves, and how they are now in a better place for love. It’s a story many can relate to, but also a rarity because not everyone is quick to admit part of the reason a relationship didn’t work was, well, them. It’s a song that showcases as much maturity as it does Adria Kain’s impeccable control of her vocals. The stars may not have aligned for love, but they did for this song.

Adria Kain comes through with realistic tales, an unmatched voice, and a confidence in her overall performance that makes you want to not only listen but root for her to make it far in music. A gift to not only Neo-Soul but music as a whole, ‘When It Blooms’ comes through. To hear the album, and “Lost One,” make sure to check Adria Kain out on all major music and streaming platforms today.
