“Breathe” – Airyen Vay

If one thing is as clear as day post-2016 it is that we cannot continue to rely on the current situation at hand to further the world. Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai, environmental activist Greta Thunberg, gun control advocate Emma González, and so many others way under 30 have proven that when young people stand up and speak out, we progress for the better. However, with so many still considering them “just kids,” it is important to remember that the voice of the youth is crucial, which is what led Airyen Vay to pen the anthemic “Breathe.”

With so many issues circling our existence right now, it is hard to pick and choose but whatever you feel passionate for and want to see change – say it loud. That is what the foundation of “Breathe” is all about. As powerful as the song itself is, Airyen Vay pushes her own voice forward with the video clip that shows the dynamic between two generations, the power of speaking up, the strength in numbers, and much more in a beautifully, cinematically done clip.

Airyen Vay has been a force to be reckoned with since her 2019 debut, “Say,” dropped. Since then she has continued to impress with her stunning vocals across a myriad of singles including “Slow Motion’ and “Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is.” Now she’s trucking forward with an anthem for the youth of today and tomorrow, “Breathe.” To be inspired, check out “Breathe” on all major music and streaming platforms.
