“Running” – Pip Millet

For almost a decade Vevo’s DSCVR “Artists to Watch” campaign has featured artists that have gone on to be some of the biggest names in music. James Bay, Sam Smith, and Billie Eilish are among the many who’ve started there and wound up with Grammy nominations, and even big wins. This year a talented array of artists were featured, including the Neo-Soul dynamo, Pip Millet. The UK-based singer-songwriter got to shine with a live performance on her single, “Running” for the 2022 campaign, and it’s a delight.

When she isn’t being featured in a notable campaign, Pip Millet is working alongside other talented acts like Ghetts. If you happen to check out the recorded version, Ghetts has a phenomenal verse there. No matter what version you listen to on repeat though, you’re going to enjoy Pip Millet’s old-school soul approach to a contemporary sound. It’s a blend that she has been perfecting since 2018 with “Make Me Cry.” With each release, she’s grown and over time has come into her own, proving just why “Running” is being highlighted by Vevo in their 2022 “Artists to Watch” campaign.

Pip Millet has been entertaining crowds since taking on the role of DJ at family gatherings when she was just 11-years-old. It didn’t take long for her to follow that path fully. To date, Pip Millet has released a few EPs including this 2021’s ‘Motion Sick.’ You can find “Running” featuring Ghetts on that record, as well as on Vevo now.
