“Take Me Back” – SACHI

SACHI’s latest single “Take Me Back” is a dreamy, electric anthem steeped in hope and nostalgia. With simple and poetic lyrics, crisp and intoxicating vocals, and enveloping orchestration, “Take Me Back” will have you dreaming of your next visit to the dance floor.

The song begins with a restrained intro as sweet and clear vocals float over a bed of ambient chords. The verse slowly builds with strong undertones and rhythms as the chorus sings “Take me back to the feeling”. The music intensifies to an instrumental breakdown that will get you moving if you weren’t already. The layers of electronic melodies create a symphony that truly showcases SACHI’s style and ability to create an incredibly uplifting, dance-worthy track.

Based in New Zealand, the electro pop duo wrote and produced this song during pandemic lockdown. After New Zealand successfully eradicated the pandemic during the summer of 2020, music festivals were able to continue without restrictions. “Take Me Back” was inspired by the spirit of those festivals and truly captures the joy and appreciation of the experience through the lyrics and the song’s dynamic, optimistic instrumentation. There’s no better song to listen to while you wait for the exciting days of live music to return.
