“1933” by Jordan Smith Reynolds

“1933” is to the ears like a warm blanket on a cold day is to the body. By incorporating the right amount of guitar and violin, this song has such a beautiful instrumental journey for the listener.

Jordan Smith Reynold’s high pitched vocals really emulate such a beautiful sound that is perfect for the chorus. During the bridge, he really uses his chest voice to take the song to a higher intensity.

This song is about going back into time to talk to a past relative. With lyrics like, “You are far away / for a moment you were everywhere / and it felt like I was home / So I thought you should know”, this song really touches the hearts of his broad audience.

A truly beautiful song of storytelling in able to connect to the past.
