“Prove Me Wrong” – Jess Spink

Ask a group of people to raise their hand if they’ve found themselves stuck, at some point in their life, for a partner to change their toxic ways. You’ll see a sea of hands reach towards the sky because unfortunately, this is a commonality one too many of us have faced, but the good news is “Prove Me Wrong” by Jess Spink proves we are not alone in this anthemic, sort of therapeutic reminder of such situations as it points a spotlight on this not so ideal reality.

On top of weaving together a universal moment for many, “Prove Me Wrong” also delivers a wonderful indie meets vibrant pop performance from the press of play. Yes, the things being sung aren’t the most positive, but that juxtaposition with the mid-tempo pop makes a great pairing that works well together. Fans that have followed the likes of Tove Lo and Ellie Goulding for some time will want to add Jess Spink to their daily rotation.

Jess Spink released her first single back in 2020, and since then has been full steam ahead with more releases including her 2021 debut, ‘Where It Goes from Here’ which featured favorites like “Same but Different” and “Love Last.” That was also the year she played her first headline show at the Notting Hill Arts Club. The sold-out crowd lived for every second. Now she’s continuing to add to her rapidly growing discography with even more releases, including her latest, “Prove Me Wrong.”
