“On Your Side” by Scott Apple

Scott Apple brings his listeners a gorgeous melodic triumph with “On Your Side”. From the start, you’ll fall deeply in his harmonies and meaningful lyrics.

This song is three minutes and 49 seconds of pure indie-folk gold. His lyrics speak to the undying love for his partner and how they make a long distance relationship work. With lyrics like, “Late nights we fall asleep / On the telephone just to hear your breathe / no words exchanged / no need to speak / all of this just to feel close to you”, you can get a deep sense of the love he is singing about.

Through dynamic guitar and piano instrumentals and a deep cut bridge, he knows how to really captivate the emotions of the listeners. Needless to say, this is a song for the lovers. I’ll be adding it to my fall playlist pronto.
