“it’s over now” – ARIA

“it’s over now” by ARIA is a alternative-pop song that describes the failing of his romantic relationship, and how dead set he is on moving forward from it. As the song unfolds, ARIA reminisces about the good times shared with their partner, highlighting the stark difference between what happened in the past vs. the current present. However, they ultimately come to terms with the need to walk away from a relationship that is no longer serving them in a positive manner. Relationships that can be harmful to your mental, emotional, and maybe even physical health can always be the hardest to walk away from, and ARIA highlights some of the abusive tactics one faces in a toxic relationship after they’ve firmly enforced their boundaries. I definitely recommend this song if you need a pep-talk on leaving that doesn’t best suit you in the long run.
