Listening to “If There is a God” by Adaline, I immediately thought that this song is like if Billie Eilish decided to used more religious metaphors in her music, and Lana Del Rey decided to produce it. It has that sensual, kind of haunting element to it that makes you feel more enticed to lean in and listen deeper to the lyrics and meaning. Adaline provides her audience a canvas of religious questions, and becoming candid while exploring the challenges and contradictions inherent in religious belief. This song is perfect for those who feel disillusionment when really looking into and realizing how faith clashes with the realities of human nature,
