“If The World Ends” – Kayleigh Wilson

There has been a trend in music lately where artists aren’t holding back and giving audiences those classic love songs, those musical moments we hold onto for our wedding days. It’s great to hear that level of variety in the audible landscape, but those who live for the romantic charm life has to offer will appreciate what Kayleigh Wilson has done with her lovely new single, “If The World Ends.”

Kayleigh Wilson doesn’t rely on a lot of bells and whistles for “If The World Ends.” That simple take on the grandiose idea of love is why this song works so well. She doesn’t cloud her lyricism with the unnecessary but rather relies on emoting her feelings in a way that makes everyone who listens feel a certain type of way – regardless if they are with someone they feel is the person they’d want to be with as the world ends. Even though the imagery of that, the world ending, is so dark, Kayleigh Wilson makes sure this song leans light in the way she pours her heart into every line.

This sweet embrace in the form of a song is the fourth single from Kayleigh Wilson. She only started releasing music in 2021 with her debut, “Take Me Home.” With release since she has been able to showcase her vocals in new ways, including with the more ballad ways of “I’m Alive.” To hear all of those and more, including Kayleigh Wilson’s latest, “If The World Ends,” make sure to check her out on all major music and streaming platforms today.
