“I Must Like It” by Courtney Farren

Courtney talks about the common theme of feeling safe in the chaos versus the stability. With lyrics, “I’m on the precipice of a full blown crisis / Don’t know why I’m like this / I must like this”, she really takes the listener on a relatable journey about mental health.

Her raspy but strong vocals will carry you through a dynamic indie-pop tune. The soft beats are the perfect accompaniment for what Courtney Farren is trying to accomplish in this song.

I found, “I Must Like It” to be one of my favorite new tunes of the fall. It will get you in your feels but in all the right ways.
