“I Like to Hide in the Bathroom at Parties” Winnetka Bowling League

It’s not every day that the anxiety-ridden introverts of the world get a new anthem, but not since Alessia Cara dropped “Here” have I felt so seen by a piece of music. And it is all thanks to Winnetka Bowling League and their infectious new single, “I Like to Hide in the Bathroom at Parties.”

Being someone who is neither social nor cool in any way shape or form, and has never been, “I Like to Hide in the Bathroom at Parties” is a song that I took to very quickly. It’s not only riddled with scenarios that made me go, “Same,” but it is also just a delightful piece of music that I can sing and dance along to every few minutes. It sounds like the love child of the aforementioned Alessia Cara and early Hellogoodbye due to the nature of the lyrics balancing out the bedroom pop vibes that make it an earworm that just will not quit.

“I Like to Hide in the Bathroom at Parties” is on its way to being one of those viral moments for a multitude of reasons from it being 100% relatable to it also being a song that has big TikTok energy. This is the latest single from Winnetka Bowling League, but not the only thing they’ve dished out this year. It follows the release of their 2022 EP, ‘pulp.’ To hear all of the above and more, make sure to check these indie-pop darlings out now on all major music and streaming sites today.
