“F*ck My Life Up Again” by Marcus King

Marcus King is known for his extraordinary vocal range and even more dynamic instrumental ability. During Cardboard Sessions, he brings the listener onto a journey they haven’t been on before. One of improvisation and the beauty that ‘jamming’ can really bring.

In his Cardboard Session recording of “F*ck My Life Up Again”, the listener can really resonate with the intensity of Marcus King’s emotions. The way he relays them through sound, soul, and rhythm is truly transcending.

I personally loved the rawness of this live session, especially the focus on how blues and folk really interact.
