“Enough for You” – Trinity Wiseman

We had the pleasure of interviewing Trinity Wiseman, and here’s what she had to say:

Q: What was your inspiration for “Enough for You”? And what does it mean to you?

WISEMAN: I feel like I went through a phase of having crushes on people that were emotionally unavailable. In my head, I felt that the reason they didn’t like me was that I wasn’t good enough for them. I wrote the song about the sadness that you feel when you realize that you can’t change who you are. As we mature, we realize that you shouldn’t change for anyone and that you are enough. In the present, the song represents a perspective for me about everyone that feels like they just aren’t enough whether it is with respect to their
parents, significant other, teacher, etc.

Q: At what point did you feel “Okay. This is great. I’m gonna put this out there!”?

WISEMAN: This past year I started working with Daniel Diaz, a producer in Nashville. We just clicked and both took a deep dive into my catalog. We stumbled across this song, and it really stuck out and hit home with us. When I originally wrote the song it was a sad girl acoustic ballad and it started to morph into an electronic pop jam that we fell in love with. I knew then that I had to share it with everyone that feels like they aren’t good enough. The happy energetic beat can’t help but make you feel better.

Q: What drives you to create music?

WISEMAN: I feel like most people have a soundtrack to their life. It’s who you are and it follows you everywhere you go. For me, I have to write it down and get it out or it can drive me crazy. So many times, my go to for hashing things out or coping with what I am going through is songwriting and composing. It’s just who I am

Q: What do you enjoy doing outside making music?

WISEMAN: I love all creative outlets. I consume other peoples art by reading books, binging TV shows, going to galleries, and walking around artesian festivals. You can also catch me horseback riding or hiking on the Nashville trails.

Q: What’s your all time favourite song? Why?

WISEMAN: Wow. That is a really difficult question! I feel like for me that changes for me by the minute. I love so many genres from all across the decades. Some of my favorites are Silver Springs by Fleetwood Mac, Rosanna by Toto, Cowboy Like Me by Taylor Swift, and Moon Song by Phoebe Bridgers. As a songwriter, I’m always a sucker for amazing lyrics and a good story behind the song.

Q: What would you like to tell your supporters?

WISEMAN: Thank you for always being there for me and I’m so excited to share this new music with you. I hope that if you can relate to this song, you will realize that you are enough and that you don’t need anyone else’s affirmation to tell you that
