“Chasing Dreams” by D. Lee

D’Lee gives her listeners a soulful and honest storytelling journey with her newest release. “Chasing Dreams” has the charisma of a song that will be remembered for long after its release. This story is a tale as old as time. This song is about the struggles and hopes of a single mom, drawn from her own personal experiences going through motherhood.

She explores the idealism about how to still hold onto yourself while being a selfless mother figure. This song explores a passionate emotion that comes with the power of balance when it comes to taking care of yourself and your family.

The instrumentation was really poignant and helped connect the story to the production in a beautiful way. The acoustic moments were strong and really tied together the emotion of the song, most especially when you hear the electric guitar moments in the distance.

I loved the strength this song provided and thank D’Lee for pouring her heart and soul into this one.
