“Can’t Win” – O’Carmody feat. Darity

“Can’t Win” by O’Carmody feat. Darity gives me the same whimiscal feeling as a summer night down south catching fireflies and riding our bikes to get ice cream at the local gas station shop. Its instrumentals are eclectic, uplifting, sweet, and a wonderful juxtaposition against the sense of melancholy that’s embedded within the lyrics. I can definitely see this song on a soundtrack of a coming-of-age movie, because this song gives a sense of carefree-ness that can be hard to capture in this rigid, fast-moving world. Definitely give this song a spin if you are looking to decompress, and veg out into a state of bliss.
