“Bright Ideas / Real Aspirations” by Jackson Howard

Jackson Howard sets the mood instantly with a gorgeous guitar crescendo into the first verse. His angelic yet powerful voice was built perfectly to tell a story like this one.

The production compliments his vocals beautifully and takes the listener on a journey about finally feeling comfortable in a world of new love and unwavering hope. The piano and guitar collide to make a perfect harmony of sounds to make the vocals feel at home. He makes an ode to his song title in the bridge with lyrics, “I know I’m not the first generation / with Bright Ideas and Good Aspirations” and it really ties in the song flawlessly.

This happy go lucky song is one of an indie-folk masterpiece. Well done Jackson Howard.
